ColoServe’s parent company ServePath has just published some new “Security Checklists” for Red Hat, Debian, FreeBSD, Windows 2003 and Windows 2000 which lots of people are finding helpful reference guides for keeping security vulnerabilities closed. These were written by one of our Senior Systems Engineers, who has drawn on his experience to put together these quick reference pages. With over 3000 servers under management in our San Francisco data center, he has seen it all, and shares some of the basics at the links above. Keep safe out there in the wilds of the Internet!
