Happy New Year! Everyone here at ServePath hopes that you all made it safely into the new year and that you are enjoying 2006 so far.
2005 was a great year for ServePath, and it looks like 2006 will be even better. In 2005 we launched a number of new managed services, including a new Managed Backup service, ActiveAlert monitoring, and a Server Hardware Component Monitoring service, among other things.
We are kicking off 2006 with our 5th anniversary which we will be celebrating on January 9. 5 years is a significant milestone in an extremely competitive business which sees 80% of start-ups fail within 2 years, so we are both proud and excited about this accomplishment. That doesn’t mean that we are resting on our laurels, though – as always, we are looking ahead to make sure that we provide our customers with the best managed services and cutting-edge server technology.
In addition to celebrating our anniversary, we are working on some exciting new things for 2006. One of the things we will be doing this year is expanding our San Francisco data center, and we will also be adding additional bandwidth providers to our already Screaming-Fast Network. At the moment we are also putting the finishing touches on a brand new product – more to come about that at a later date.
